The Story of Figure 8 Pilates
Ink has always been someone who loves exercising and often challenges herself with strenuous exercises. Until one day she started having severe back pain. After seeing a doctor, she was advised to stop exercising with great strength, and there were only two exercise options that were right for her: yoga or pilates.
She tried yoga but felt it was too slow for her until she discovered Pilates, which was a game changer. Ink was so passionate about Pilates that she trained on her own for 5 years. Her dedication and love for Pilates led her to start teaching private classes, and she taught by herself for 3 years. As more people noticed the benefits of Pilates, she decided to expand her team and take on more teachers to share her love with even more people.
Today, Figure 8 Pilates Studio was built on love, dedication and real personal transformation. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, we welcome you to experience the power of Pilates with us.

FAQ
Can someone who weighs a lot do Pilates?
You can play it and it's good. Because Pilates does not cause shock to the joints, whether it is played on a mat or on equipment. Pilates poses are usually parallel to the floor, which causes the force to be distributed so it does not hit the joints directly. It also makes the muscles that support the joints stronger, which will help reduce pain in the knees, ankles, or back due to being overweight.
Can Pilates help with back pain?
Pilates is an exercise that can help reduce back pain and improve back function in people with chronic, unexplained lower back pain.
Can I do Pilates while pregnant?
Pilates for pregnant mothers is considered exercise along with meditation. It is safe for pregnant mothers because there is little impact. The various movements emphasize softness, continuity, and natural flow. The movement of various muscles must be combined with rhythmic breathing as prescribed. It helps practice breathing to balance pregnant mothers.
